How to build learning motivation for children

To build learning motivation for children is not easy. They are moody. Sometimes they are highly motivated, but sometime they are on the contrary. There are some causes why they are low motivated: stressed, bored, angry and disappointed towards something. When the adults around them cannot help solve it, they will look for other ways to get rid off their boredom: playing game, watching cartoon movies, reading comics, or playing with their friends. This condition will happen continuosly as they are happy and can go away from their stressed situation. The question is can we as the adult and close to them becaome media to decrease their boredom or stress?

There are some tips that you can do. First, pray for them. As their parents, you must be sure that your children’s behaviour can be changed and become better. Second, create a warm situation at home and be a good entertainment for the children. Third, make a schedule of playing game and watching TV. They can do both at least 2 hours a day. Next, creative more produvtive activities between parents and children for examples, playing monopoly, puzzle, snakes and ladders games, reading, and studying. Then, do those activities continously and consistently. Never change the schedule even when children do not want to do them all sometimes and they express their emotion by crying or getting angry. Next, if they are crying or getting, let them go as long as it is not dangerous for them. If it is so, do the rescue act. In addition, control yourself and stay calm when you see your children getting angry. Keep smiling and gaze at them gently. Next, when your chldren are getting calm, hug and talk to them. Say sorry to them and explain why you do that. Then, give them rewards when they do something good, kiss them or play and study with them.
